I love the way the cover feels. It’s smooth and a little flexible. It’s a bit pricier than the Speck hard-cases, but totally worth it. It fits perfectly, and makes my macbook look a bit more fun, without taking away from the classy, streamlined, mac design.
I chose this over the Speck cases since I prefer my covers to have a bit more give than rigid plastic. Plus, the case cant get scratched or scuffed, which seems to be the biggest concern with the Speck plastic cases.
I love it, and would recommend to anyone trying to look for an alternative to shiny plastic or generic laptop sleeves.

fingerprints can be seen after picking it up but that’s better than on my macbook pro. i like the color; makes my pro stand out not blend. the best thing about this case is that it comes off easy if you need to change out hard drives, ram, etc… which is what i heard the speck case doesn’t allow you to so easily.

I recently put this beautiful skin on my brand new unibody, 15″ MacBook Pro. I was in love with my new laptop, and couldn’t imagine that I could do anything to improve on its elegant design. Out of an intent to protect my investment, I reluctantly decided to order a skin. I assumed that I would reduce the elegance of my Mac, but went ahead and ordered the black version of this latest Speck skin.
Even when I first saw the skin in its package, I was dubious about putting it on my new baby. Wow, was I ridiculously naive! There is no way that I would go back to my naked laptop again. The skin not only protects my investment, it actually makes it more attractive. It improves the feel of the outside, and it makes it look a bit more unique. I wonder why Apple didn’t come up with this on their own. I guess that doesn’t matter, because Speck did, and they couldn’t have made it any easier to integrate with the perfection that is Apple’s trademark.
